Chicken Sisig Jams!

In anticipation of the AMP Rites of Passage Audition tomorrow, I jammed with my band at our usual jamming place, Future Star. Sadly, we weren’t allowed to play in Rites of Passage because Chicken Sisig is already in the official AMP roster since 2001. Now, only 2 original members remain, I was recruited and Nats and Ced joined in. I was hoping that I get to play at the Rites before graduating.

Shattered dreams. Sniff!!!

The jam was f***ing great! :D We rock, people! Kuya Nats brought in his brand new Ibanez guitar. It is black, sexy, the Floyd Rose tremollo system was still shiny silver. His gear is fantastic. Morley pedal, about 3 Boss stomp boxes coupled with his 4-button Korg Tone Works which also has a built-in pedal. All that in coffin-looking guitar hard case. The sound is clear and sweet. Makes me drool.

I need to buy a nice bass amp and simple distortion. But I still haven’t recovered from my bankruptcy when I bought precious. I gave 9k out of my 15k accumulated paycheck from last summer to my similarly bankrupt dad. The rest was spent on food, transportation, gimmicks, etc. Sadness. Now I’m running on a negative account. The bills are piling up. :(

We will release a 10-track album soon hurrah!!! I have 7 tracks of the raw recording in OGG format which I plan to stash somewhere online for archiving. Prolly the chickensisig egroup.

i still have to figure out how to use all that stuff. the boss pedals and the korg dont sound too good together. you can use the blues driver muna. its the blue boss pedal. ok na bass OD yun.

oh yeah. if you’re really into gear, swerte ka you play bass. all you’ll ever need is a bass EQ, a little OD) and maybe chorus and you’re all set. you can find most of that stuff for less than 4k. try bidshot.com.
